Meet Our Leaders

Gloria Horton Gloria Horton, Executive Director
Gloria serves as the Executive Director of VNA Plus. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana, and joined Visiting Nurse Plus, Inc. in November 1986. Following positions in Accounting, Human Resources and as the Assistant Executive Director, Gloria assumed the Executive Director role in April 2004. She was appointed Executive Director of the merged agency, VNA Plus, in March 2010. She has served on several committees and has held numerous leadership positions for the Indiana Association for Home and Hospice Care (IAHHC) and for the Home Care Association of America. In May 2010, Gloria was named the recipient of IAHHC’s highest honor, the Norah J. McFarland Award, for her passion for assisting the elderly and for overall excellence in representing the home care industry.
   
Angie Fetscher
Angie Fetscher, Director of Human Resources
A graduate of Purdue University, Angie worked for Visiting Nurse Association as an Employment Assistant from 1994-1996. She returned to the agency in 2002 as the Human Resources Supervisor, and became the Director of Human Resources in 2005. Certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), she is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and has also served in several leadership roles as a member of the Evansville-Area Human Resource Association, including Membership Director and Secretary. Angie emphasizes that it takes a strong, dependable workforce to provide the services that enable people to continue living in their homes. Creating a staff committed to the highest quality of care possible is a responsibility she takes very seriously…and she is proud of the role she and her colleagues play in hiring and retaining dedicated employees.
   
Janice Utley
Janice Utley, Director of Private Pay Services
A lifelong resident of Princeton, Indiana, Janice joined Visiting Nurse Plus, Inc. in 1990 to assist the agency in establishing operations in Gibson County by overseeing the human resources, marketing and customer service functions for the Princeton, Indiana office. She currently serves as Director of Private Pay Services. With a background in accounting and social services, her previous experience includes positions at Holiday Manor Convalescent Center and the Gibson County Area Rehabilitation Center. She has served as a board member for the Gibson County Council on Aging, as a co-facilitator for Alzheimer’s support group meetings, and as chairperson of the Gibson County Health Fair. Janice views the elderly as one of our nation’s most valuable resources, and through her work and community contributions, hopes to help them earn the respect they deserve from society.
