While other companies may refer to themselves as “visiting nurses”, there has been only one true visiting nurse association in this area since 1888. VNA Plus is the most comprehensive home care and hospice agency in the tri-state area, offering a complete range of private duty companion care and assistance with daily living activities; home health services; and end-of-life hospice care.

Our staff travels more than one million miles every year to provide thousands of hours of in-home care to individuals that are recuperating from a hospital stay, coping with chronic illness or disability, or facing age-related challenges. Services are available 24 hours a day in hospitals, traditional housing, senior communities, assisted living and long-term care facilities–wherever our customers call home—and provided by staff that are committed to helping individuals recover and live safely and independently; or when recovery is not possible, to provide support and help those in our care live each day to the fullest.

As a locally-operated, not-for-profit agency, any funds left over after operating expenses are met are reinvested in the organization—not paid to shareholders—which enables us to provide more care to more people throughout our service area. VNA Plus is also a United Way agency that receives funds to assist in meeting the cost of care when appropriate for individuals unable to pay. We strive to enhance the areas in which we live and work through community partnerships with others dedicated to high quality care; and by providing exceptional service to our clients and fair wages and benefits to our staff.

VNA Plus is Medicare and Medicaid certified; and fully licensed by the Indiana State Department of Health and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
