VNA Plus Wants to Know: What’s Your Story?

“The life of every man is a diary in which he means to write one story, and then writes another.”
A handwritten note expressing a family’s thanks…someone sharing a past experience with a VNA Plus representative at a health fair…a volunteer telling her neighbor why she spends every Monday helping hospice patients…these are the stories of VNA Plus and of everyone who in some way has touched–or been touched by–our mission of helping people make the most of their lives in the setting they love best.
The most recent issue of Outreach, the newsletter published by the VNA Plus Development Department to recognize agency friends and donors, focuses on stories that weave the rich history of our service to our communities and the tales that are currently being written as home care and hospice continue to evolve in our ever-changing health care landscape. This issue also encourages YOU, our readers, to share your story with us and be part of the legacy created in 1888 by a group of forward-thinking women who recognized the need to care for those in their community and founded the area’s original Visiting Nurse Association.
